We are fortunate to be able to represent the Modec Valve Actuator in Western PA and WV. We were signed on as one of the first distributors in the US for this unique product line. We have found this to be the best valve actuator of its kind on the market. All major industries that we service from power, petrochemical, oil and gas, pipeline operations are valves of all types and configurations. The Modec has many options to handle them all. With three different motor options ( battery, gas, and pneumatic ) and many choices of hand wheel drive plates and reaction options to assure the safest method to open, close and exercise your stubborn manual valves.

1 - MOTOR SOURCE
Hyper compact and lightweight, the MC89 portable valve actuator is able to develop a maximum torque of 850 Nm
This makes it the ideal tool for the most common Easy and Standard Duty applications, on all types of indoor or outdoor valves independently.
Its two 18V Lithium-Ion batteries allow to use it continuously during up to one hour. For an even more intensive usage, use the main power connection kit that plugs on the actuator just like a battery and provides an unlimited autonomy.
Designed for any type of operation, the MC89 comes with 3 models only that cover a 0 to 450 rpm speed and a 850 Nm maximum torque. No need to say that even the most stubborn valves can be operated!
No worry though, the integrated electronic torque limiter will easily prevent any damages for your valve or the tool itself.
Modec pneumatic portable valve actuators are the most compact, light and powerful. They offer the widest choice of power and adapt to all environments, even the most demanding.
They come with ATEX II 2 GD c IIC T6 to T4 certification (except when equipped with the digital revolution counter).
Modec petrol portable valve actuators can be used in total autonomy – the only limit being the available petrol supply. They are particularly suitable for use in isolated outdoor places.
Extremely robust, they have an integrated clutch system which protects the operator and the equipment, even if a valve is completely blocked
